		<description>I think this post hits on an issue central to law school-based social justice organizing: privilege.  Law students in this country are a disproportionately white, young and economically privileged group.  And so we need to be very cautious about not trying to speak for communities we do not represent.  We do have a role to play in the movement, but what that role is will depend on the situation.  I often think of it in terms of a variation on the Spider-man theme: "with great privilege comes great responsibility."</description>
