Hi Rosie!

Thank you for calling upon the importance of story-telling. I have been looking to get in touch with someone in LSRJ at Columbia University about an event and so I am loving this serendipitous moment. Is there a way I could get in touch with you directly? Or perhaps you could email me directly?

Thanks very much,

Sarah

I work with Bei Bei's defense team, and I really enjoyed this post. While Bei Bei's story resonates within many different communities (POC's, immigrants, etc), you are absolutely correct- this is a women's rights and reproductive rights issue at its core. Which, of course, makes it all the more frustrating, since this kind of thing is beginning to happen all over the U.S.A.

We have a website (freebeibei.com) if you'd like to learn more/make direct donations to her legal fund, and you might give us a shout-out in future posts if you'd like.
